Import Fuel Tickets

The Import Fuel Tickets program is an optional program in the FleetWise Lite fleet maintenance software.  Many of our customers have automated fueling systems or use a single outside vendor for fueling. 

Automated fuel pumps can track each vehicles odometer or hour meter, and the quantity of fuel pumped. This information can be transferred to the FleetWise Lite fleet maintenance software through the Fuel Pump Interface. 

Many vendors have programs to track fuel consumption for their clients.  This information is often provided to you in a paper report.  However, most of the time this information can be provided to you in an excel spreadsheet or an ascii text file.  The Fuel Pump Interface will import all of the fueling transactions from a pump or from a file provided by the vendor. This information is brought into the Fuel Ticket Entry table in the FleetWise Lite fleet maintenance software. The information can be reviewed and corrected there. It is then posted just like a manually entered Fuel ticket. 

To import Fuel tickets the user clicks on the Import Tickets button to locate the file with the information. This brings all of the tickets into the FleetWise Lite fleet maintenance software automatically. It can provide a huge data entry time savings for a large fleet.
