Recall Campaigns

The FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software makes it very easy for you to create recall campaigns. First you create a repair code for the recall. The repair code can include a long description of the maintenance to be performed. Then you display the Campaign window displayed below in Browse Mode. You can click on the new button to create a new recall campaign, or click on the edit button to change an existing open campaign.

The Campaign window is displayed in edit mode below. You can enter the manufacturer and model of the vehicles being recalled. You can indicate whether you want the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software to create repair orders for the vehicles, or create ticklers – reminders for the recall. With a tickler, the next time a repair order is opened for the vehicle, you will be prompted to perform the recall maintenance. With a repair order, you are expected to perform the maintenance immediately.

Once the recall is created, you can add all of the vehicles to be included in the campaign. Click on the F8 Key or the Unit Info – F8 button to add vehicles to the campaign. An unlimited number of vehicles can be added to a single campaign. The browse window listing the vehicles in the campaign is displayed below from the FleetWise VB Fleet MaintenanceSoftware.

The unit window is displayed in edit mode from the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. This window allows you to add another vehicle or piece of equipment to the campaign.

Once the campaign has been created, you can return to the Campaign Info window by pressing the F7 key. Then Press the F5 key or click on the Post Campaign button to create the ticklers or repair orders for the Recall Campaign.
