Repair Order System - Labor

The Labor Browse window contains all of the labor performed on the current repair code. The labor can be entered on a daily basis, or it can be entered for the entire repair code in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. An unlimited number or mechanics or vendors can be listed.

Entering labor charges by repair code provides a number of reports including mechanic productivity reports in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. Reports are available showing all of mechanics labor for a time range. Also reports are available comparing mechanics time performing specific repair codes. The total time and average time to perform each repair code is displayed.

Click on the New Button to add a new labor record or click on an existing labor record and then click on the Edit Button to change it. You can also double click on it to edit it.

The labor window is displayed in Edit Mode below FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. You can change most of the information for the labor. Once the changes are complete click on the Save & New Button to save the changes and add a new record, or click on the Save Button to save your changes and return to the prior window, or click on the Undo Button to lose the changes.

At the top of the window the system displays the current repair code. Each mechanic that worked on the repair code can be added. The time is entered, and the rate is brought in from the employee table in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software.

Note you can enter the labor in one lump sum. In other words, if the labor occurred over three days, you create one entry for all three days. Alternatively, you can enter the labor for each day in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. This provides you with improved labor tracking. The decision is yours.

The repair codes are displayed in Edit Mode below. You can change most of the information for the repair codes. Once the changes are complete click on the Save & New Button to save the changes and add a new repair code, or click on the Save Button to save your changes and return to the prior window, or click on the Undo Button to lose the changes.
