Repair Order System - Parts

The Part Information Browse window contains all of the parts used on the current repair code in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. An unlimited number of parts can be entered for each repair code. Parts can be taken from inventory or can be purchased directly from a vendor and placed on the repair order in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. If the maintenance is performed by an outside vendor, the parts can be recorded, but are assumed to come from the vendor.

The parts window is displayed in Edit Mode below from the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. You can change most of the information for the part. Once the changes are complete click on the Save & New Button to save the changes and add a new record, or click on the Save Button to save your changes and return to the prior window, or click on the Undo Button to lose the changes.

This window allows you to select parts from inventory in the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. The window changes slightly if you are purchasing the part from an outside vendor.

An important feature of the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software is the ability to track warranties on repair parts. On the left side of the window, you can enter the Part Warranty Expiration Information. If you replace the same part on the same unit before this warranty has expired, a warning message will be displayed.
