Preventive Maintenance Schedule
FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software offers very flexible Preventive Maintenance Scheduling. The PM Schedule window is displayed below in browse mode. You will notice more than one PM is schedule for each unit. You can schedule an unlimited number of PM’s for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
The PM Schedule is displayed in edit mode below from the FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software. You can create an unlimited number PM's per unit. A "Repair Code" is used to describe the PM, in this case "CHANGE AIR FILTERS." You define repair codes. Each repair code can be up to 30 alpha-numeric characters long. You can enter VMRS codes if desired in our Fleet Maintenance Software.
A PM can be scheduled for a frequency of either "EACH", or "AT". A frequency of "EACH" means the PM will automatically be rescheduled after it has been performed. A frequency of "AT" means the PM will be scheduled once and will never be done again.
A PM can have a type of "FLOATING" or "REGULAR". A floating PM will be rescheduled based on when it was actually completed last. A regular PM will be rescheduled based on when it should have been performed last. Regular PM's are primarily used for government mandated inspections.
FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software can automatically create Repair Orders for PM's when they are due. PM's can be created on a 5 tier basis.
For example, you may want to perform a "PM A" every 5,000 miles or 90 days and you may want to perform a "PM B" every 20,000 miles or 365 days. When you perform the "PM B", you also want to perform a "PM A" so that you only take the vehicle out of service one time. In FleetWise you would create "PM B" as a service level 1, and "PM A" as a service level 2. Whenever a "PM B" is added to a repair order, "PM A" will be added automatically.
In FleetWise VB Fleet Maintenance Software - CMMS a PM can be scheduled by miles, hours, days, gallons of fuel consumed, other meter or any combination of criteria. Notice this PM is scheduled for every 12,000 miles or 365 days, whichever occurs first. This PM will next occur on 7/3/2004.

The Due PM's list is a list of Due PM's which can be displayed on the screen. You can then click on the button to create Repair Orders for the PM's. The Predictive Maintenance Report lists all of the PM's that appear on the Due PM's List.
