FleetWise VB Maintenance System
Quick Receipt
The FleetWise VB maintenance system has two ways to purchase parts for inventory: the quick receipt and the purchase order. Each process includes two functions. First, you identify the vendor and location for the parts. Second, you identify each part purchased and the quantity purchased.
The Quick Receipt Window is displayed in browse mode below from the FleetWise VB maintenance system. You can click on the new button to add a new receipt, or click on the edit button to change an existing receipt.
This Quick Receipt window is displayed in edit mode below. On this window, you input the vendor and the location where the parts were received.
The user clicks on the F8 key or the Part Information button to display the list of parts on the Quick Receipt. The user can click on the new button on the toolbar to add a new part or the edit button to change a part.
The part edit window from the FleetWise VB maintenance system is displayed below. The user selects the part purchased and enters the quantity and unit cost. The system automatically calculates the sales tax.
Once all of the parts have been added to the Quick Receipt, the user posts the receipt. The window below is displayed by pressing the F5 key or by clicking on the Post Receipt button. You click on the Yes button to post the receipt. Posting the receipt updates the inventory master table in the FleetWise VB maintenance system.
The Inventory Master Table is displayed in edit mode below from the FleetWise VB maintenance software. You can change the Bin Shelf Code and the low and high stock levels. The rest of the information is for viewing only. You cannot change the quantity on hand. You must enter an Adjustment Transaction to change the quantity. This creates a history of all the transactions that affect inventory.
You can click on the Vendor History tab to display the primary and alternate vendors for the selected part. Also, a complete history of the transaction affecting this part in inventory is displayed.
